Hi! I'm Brenda, Owner, Founder and Graphic Designer at Daylily, LLC.

I've been working professionally as a Graphic Designer for just over 30 years -- since before InDesign was even a thing! My love of Graphic Design began in the age of manual color separations using film and a precision knife and has yet to subside. I love my job! Although much has changed as technology has improved and furthered design possibilities, I feel my early roots provide a solid foundation of working knowledge to bring to each client.

 

I specialize in the design and layout of print collateral projects and advertising, readily tackle online banners/ads/headers and embrace the creative process wholeheartedly. I'm no stranger to the management of large print projects like magazines, catalogs and manuals, but equally enjoy smaller projects, such as business cards, stickers, menus, invitations and brochures. I'm a firm believer every print project (whether a business card or a full corporate catalog) should bring excitement during the creative process and an eagerly awaited delivery from the printer of the finished product. Having worked as both a print shop employee and alternatively as the lead designer in a multi-million dollar, international corporate setting, I understand no two projects are the same.

Utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite, I create crisp, clean layouts that are easily understood and well thought out. I understand the difference 1/16" of an inch can make in the design, feel and functionality of a layout. My attention to detail, yet ability to convey the emotion behind the project makes for a unique pairing.

I've received awards for best design and layout on multiple projects, but the greatest award I could ever receive is the rave reviews of the clients I work for and their repeat business. I aim to please!
